These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Comms Threader, a product of Threader Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Lite and Pro access is self-serve: start a free 14-day trial at commsthreader.com. A work email address is required for both plans; free email providers (such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo) are not accepted. Enterprise access is by direct conversation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Comms Threader is available on Lite, Pro, and Enterprise subscription plans. Plan features, pricing, and user limits are as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. All prices are in British pounds (GBP) and exclusive of VAT where applicable.
Lite and Pro subscriptions include a 14-day free trial from the date of signup. Your payment method is collected at signup but not charged until day 15. You may cancel at any time before day 15 at no cost. After the trial ends, no refunds are offered for unused time, but you retain access until the end of your billing month.
You agree to use Comms Threader only for its intended purpose: strategic communications planning and analysis for professional use. You may not attempt to extract, reproduce, or reverse-engineer the system prompts, strategic frameworks, or proprietary methodologies embedded in the service. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service.
The Comms Threader application, including its design, methodology, prompts, and code, is the intellectual property of Threader Technologies Ltd. Content you create using Comms Threader (strategy outputs, comms plans, reports) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your work product.
Comms Threader is a strategic planning tool, not a professional advisory service. The service does not constitute strategic, business, legal, or financial advice. You should exercise independent professional judgement when using outputs in any commercial or client-facing context.
Comms Threader uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to assist with strategic analysis and content generation. AI outputs are provided as a starting point for professional judgement, not as definitive strategic advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating all AI-generated content before use in professional contexts. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs for any specific purpose.
AI-generated outputs are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The AI capabilities of Comms Threader depend on third-party infrastructure (Anthropic Claude API) whose behaviour, model versions, and output characteristics are outside our control and may change without prior notice from us. You acknowledge that AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies and that you bear sole responsibility for any decisions made or actions taken based on such outputs.
Your use of Comms Threader is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Client documents and research you upload are processed to generate strategic outputs and are not shared with other users. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models.
We aim to maintain high availability of Comms Threader but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the service with reasonable notice where practicable. Comms Threader depends on third-party AI infrastructure (Anthropic Claude API) and may be affected by changes to the availability, terms, or performance of those services. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions, downtime, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threader Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Comms Threader, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Threader Technologies Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of AI-generated outputs, including any reliance on such outputs in professional, commercial, or client-facing contexts; (b) content you upload to or create using the service; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation. This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms.
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. You may cancel by contacting support@commsthreader.com. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination to allow for data export, after which it will be deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. Either party may initiate this process by providing written notice to the other party describing the dispute. The parties shall have 30 days from receipt of such notice to reach a resolution. If the dispute is not resolved within this period, either party may pursue formal proceedings in accordance with the governing law clause below.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
